Children and teenagers under 18 years have free admission.

The annual tickets include admission to all museums of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation). They are also valid for the Musikinstrumenten-Museum; however, they cannot be purchased there.

It is not necessary to book time-slot tickets.

Concessions

The reduced rate is generally 50% of the admission fee. The reduced rate applies to schoolchildren, students, those engaged in national or community service, unemployed persons claiming „ALG I“ jobseekers’ allowance, and severely disabled persons (with at least 50% reduction in earning capacity), on presentation of the appropriate identification.

Admission-free Sunday

Free admission to the museum: Once a month, numerous Berlin museums open their doors with free admission. The Musikinstrumenten-Museum, too! Admission is free to visitors on the first Sunday of each month.

Admission to events in the Jazz at the MIM and Jour Fixe – Music in the Afternoon series is free.
