Due to the press conference for the opening of the Year of the Voice (Instrument of the Year 2025), the museum will not open until 1 pm on Wednesday, 15 January 2025. You are welcome to attend the press conference: Start 11am, admission from 10.30am, free entry. Register online via this link

Buses M 48, M 85, 200 stop Varian-Fry-Strasse
Arriving by long-distance train
Central Station: Continue with bus M 85 to Varian-Fry-Straße, or with S-Bahn S 1 (Wannsee), S 25 (Teltow Stadt), S 26 (Teltow Stadt) to Friedrichstraße, change there to any southbound train and disembark at S+U Potsdamer Platz, or with the regional express to S+U Potsdamer Platz
Arriving by plane
Schönefeld Airport (BER): Regional trains FEX to Potsdamer Platz station, RB 14, S-Bahn S 9, and S 45 to Friedrichstraße, then S-Bahn lines 41 or 46 to Potsdamer Platz
Arriving by car
A 115, exit AVUS, then A 100 direction Kurfürstendamm – Halenseestraße – Kurfürstendamm – Tauentzienstraße – Nürnberger Straße – Budapester Straße – Stülerstraße – Tiergartenstraße – Ben-Gurion-Straße
Please use the parking facilities at Kulturforum and Potsdamer Platz. Parking at the Kulturforum is free of charge on Sundays, unless otherwise indicated.
Arriving by ferry
Numerous passenger ferries stop at the Potsdamer Brücke pier. From there it is about 500 m north to the Staatliche Institut fü Musikforschung (State Institute for Music Research).
