The playing of multi-instrumentalist Gebhard Ullmann is full of power and radicalism. Having spent many years commuting between New York and Berlin, he continues to be at the forefront of the German jazz scene with extremely exciting projects. In his current, long-term project HEMISPHERE 4, he once again builds on the jazz tradition whilst venturing into the realms of new music and free improvisation through his improvisations: expressive and featuring impressively effective concepts.
