Khrystyna Petrynka
From 1 April to 31 December 2022, Khrystyna Petrynka was a pre-doctoral fellow at the State Institute for Music Research and worked on a project on the Ukrainian bandura - a traditional stringed instrument. The focus is on bandura players in Ukraine in wartime, today and in the 20th century. The project combines organological, practical performance and general historical methods. Interviews, social media entries, concert programmes and academic publications serve as sources.
