Gemaltes Gesicht mit Boxhandschuhen davor und Schlagschatten

Out of love, a spoilt millionaire's son becomes a boxer against his will. Although he takes a severe beating for his bravado, he ultimately proves to be the winner thanks to his ability to overcome himself. Despite a number of flaws in the dramaturgy of this theatre adaptation, the film became Keaton's most successful silent film and is rightly considered one of Keaton's masterpieces thanks to its multi-layered message and wonderful gag sequences. (Filmdienst.de)
