The two musicians have been playing together in a wide variety of ensembles for over 35 years; they are, so to speak, in perfect sync. Alongside compositions by Zerbe, influences from Shostakovich, Bartók and Eisler feature prominently in their playing. They have released two CDs to date on the JazzHausMusic Köln label.
