Christian Elsner
Christian Elsner has been employed at the Staatliche Institut für Musikforschung since 2013. As a house technician, he looks after all the technical systems of the house, works in the areas of studio, audio, video technology and IT, as well as in the media area at events, and stands in for the technical director when he is absent. Mr Elsner has been technical director in this function since 2021.
Mr. Elsner is a trained electrician with a university entrance qualification in electrical engineering and has additional training and further education in the fields of lifts, smoke and heat extraction systems, ventilation technology and medium-voltage systems.
In the past, he has worked for NH Hotels, Knorr-Bremse AG and Wisag in the Sony Center, among others.
