A musical journey of discovery through old Berlin. For families and children. In German

As far back as 600 years ago, Berlin was a hive of musical activity. The Electors were entertained by choirboys, town pipers and court musicians. Some 200 years later, the Berlin court orchestra was one of the largest and most famous in the whole of Europe.

But then came the ‘Soldier King’, who dismissed all the musicians. Fortunately, his children loved music. Princess Wilhelmine of Bayreuth and her brother Frederick – later Frederick the Great – in particular ensured that the orchestra played once more and enjoyed a new golden age.

A musical journey of discovery through old Berlin with museum guide Gaby Bultmann, featuring exciting stories and sounds for the whole family.
