Paula Ahrens, MSc
Research Assistant
Paula Ahrens completed her Master of Science in Audio Communication and Technology at the Technical University of Berlin in 2026; her final thesis explored the perception and sound of human and AI voices. Prior to this, she studied musicology and German linguistics at Humboldt University of Berlin, focusing on popular music and the interplay between music and politics. Since November 2026, she has been a research assistant in Department III, Acoustics and Music Technology | Studio Technology and IT, at the SIM.
